– COHA Research Associate Paulina Serna will appear on Voice of America today, Thursday, December 10, to discuss hunger strikes and other recent events in Venezuela.
– COHA’s Paulina Serna will also be interviewed by Jeff Farias on his show this evening. She will be discussing her recent article “The Ill-Advised US Certification of Colombia on Human Rights U.S.”
-Panorama interviewed COHA Director Larry Birns yesterday and he discussed the similarities between former President Bush and President Obama’s policies in Latin America, the balance between the left and the right in the region, the elections in Honduras, and the upcoming elections in Chile.
-The New York-based WBAI radio show hosted Mr. Birns this week where he talked about Morales’ recent re-election in Bolivia and Honduras.
– Mr. Birns also appeared on KPFA’s Morning Show in San Francisco and discussed the U.S. support of the recent election and subsequent human rights violations in Honduras.
