On Thursday, March 7, The Council on Hemispheric Affairs had been showcased in an article in the Guyana Times titled “Government committed to rooting out corruption in mining sector-Persaud.” In the article Natural Resource Minister Robert Persaud address allegation of corruption and mistreatment in Guyana mines operated by the Canadian mining companies, at a recent press conference.
